Clive Matthew

I was delighted to join Pope Paul School as a governor last year. I have been an active member of our parish for many years and both my children attended Pope Paul School.

I have worked in education since the 1980s and I have strong links with the St John Henry Newman Catholic School and Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School. I have also carried out work for the Diocese of Westminster in the past. My passion for educational has always been to create an environment, and the opportunities, for every child to succeed. I also believe that education is more than just subject knowledge, it is the development of the whole person and essentially the spiritual development of every individual. I now enjoy retirement and I am pleased to have the opportunity to support our school community however I can. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and staying fit.
